Cisnormative equates to sexist binary ideas

I am transgender. I want to go to the beach, I want to wear a swimming costume like this;

And yet, swimsuits are so sexualised, their job is to allow a woman to lie on a Sunbed,.

Government avoiding responsibility

Dear [Name Edited]

We rejected the petition you supported – “Theresa May to personally refund the costs of the Brexit Supreme Court appeal”.

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for.

This would be a personal matter for the Prime Minister, not the responsibility of the Government as a whole.

Run by robots and commercial fools

There is a place that we’re going to,
Run by robots and commercial fools
We run like sheep for the utter creeps
Fill in internet boxes, we’re penned in,
by wolves and monsters
Our value downgraded,
we’re merely commercial companies compost
fodder for the internet bullies
Who write who we are,
but our good names they sully
Need escape and to evade
The crass commercial and the internet inane
need to remove, the blabber of fools
Crass internet Inane
They’ll huff and they’ll puff and they’ll blow our house down

Vote to save the NHS,

Vote to save the NHS, no more money to go into the NHS

Vote to brave the known frontier, pretending it’s the wild west
Throw Incendiary text bombs, throw hatred, cry crocodile tears when you get inundated
With simple questions, like where’s your preparation

Know you’re right, when all the evidence proves you wrong,

And use the Public Broadcaster to fake news show that your arms strong

Cry insults and immaturity at anything that questions thee

despite revealing yourself as fragile as a cup of Bone China tea

Electoral results encompassed many many views

But don’t you fret, only consider your narrow minded views

Politics has failed, broken system, voters show ingratitude

and dictatorship is the only thing that you construe

Now emotions running high, because we’re left all high and dry

each side claiming victimisation , unholy collaborations

trust is gone, if we’re looking for common sense, there’s none

blaming everyone but ourselves for landing in unholy well

And when all is said and done, politics failed because three was made by adding one and one

So what’s left now but to redo, the awful mess must be undone

The country’s now divided, two incompatible worlds they have collided

neither side giving way, we’re headed for historic affray, but you say nay

Like 98% of U.S. citizens (including the President), I am the descendant of immigrants—my great-grandparents came to America from Russia and Lithuania as teenagers and worked in sweatshops until they were able to afford to bring the rest of their families over. Most everyone you speak to in this country has a similar story to tell, because we are, in fact, a nation of immigrants, bound together by a shared belief in justice, equality, and the freedom to pursue a better life. In this context, last week’s Executive Order barring immigrants and refugees from seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the United States is not simply immoral, it violates the very spirit and foundation of America.

Contrary to the assertions of the current administration, the order will not make us safer (an opinion shared by the State Department and many members of Congress including prominent Republicans). Christian religious leaders…
